Threaded Glass Connectors Several manufacturers make threaded connectors in various sizes and designs. Some have internally threaded glass, with bushings to hold tubes or plugs which screw into the glass - commonly called Ace threads. Some are externally threaded, with threaded caps, both open and closed. These can all be used to make a tight connection to a straight tube, sealing with an o-ring, or used to provide an interface with other materials. We can also provide 1/4-28 male threads, which is a standard size for connecting to assorted small tubing and valves via plastic and Teflon fittings.
Internally threaded glass (Ace thread, shown with plug), externally threaded glass, external with open cap and hose barb. |
