What do we mean by custom glassware? The most basic lab glass - test tubes, beakers, bottles and the like - are made in mass quantities by machine. Anything much more elaborate than that, from a simple round bottom flask with a ground glass joint to serious mad-scientist exotica, is made individually by scientific glassblowers. That's us. One could say that most scientific glass is custom in the sense that it is done by hand.
